FEATURES
In addition to the General Features common to all DOT V3 Packages, the Bill-of-Materials Module provides complete large company functionality, automatic Interfaces to other Modules, and the following Special Features:
Bill-of-Materials Notes
Up to 9999 lines of Bill-of-Materials Notes may be maintained.
Specific or Standard Notes may be entered and each Note Line may be targeted for the related forms (Sales Orders, Work Orders, Shop Orders, etc.). [Sample]
Common Subassemblies
Common Subassemblies are fully supported and are defined only once.
Unlimited Levels
An Unlimited number of Bill-of-Materials Levels may be defined.
Deferred Maintenance
Deferred Maintenance is fully implemented through the use of Effectivity and Expiration Dates at the Component Item level. [Sample]
Maintenance Tools
A full set of automated Maintenace Tools are provided including: Bill-of-Materials Copy, Component Item Code Substitution, and Component Quantity Substitution.
Cost Roll-Up
A basic Cost Roll-Up Report is included and provides the capability of updating the Parent Item.
Consolidated Reports
Both Consolidate Picking and Requirement Reports are provided.
